Before you came I hold onto my state of mind And you came up to me After meeting it's tired And we know that it's you You're the caring of all You're what's left of a broken life Primordial state of being We have spotted something else in you He went on knowing Everyone's saw it all around He's been moving All the time, all the time So that we know that you are the(?) Primordial state of being

about

A Case of Primordials at the Edge of the Universe is the debut album from Muskegon-based three-piece, A Case of Primordials. Born from one session, this album has five tracks, all of which are long, winding pieces, including one behemoth known as "Somewhere Near Anchorage, AK" of which is forty six minutes long. There is a loose story here of people witnessing primordials. A "primordial" is anything that has existed before the Bing Bang occurred.

The members of A Case of Primordials are:
Brandon "Lil' Coop" Cooper: Bass Guitar, Electric Guitar, Percussion, and Vocals

Rafe (RonZak) LaNore: Electric Guitars, Vocals, Percussion, Bass Guitar, Concept, and Production

Wilbur Bullara: Electric Guitars, Percussion, Bass Guitar, Vocals, and Kazoo

All three are in different bands with each other. Brandon and Wilbur are the force behind SpiderVolt, a Jazz Rock project. Rafe and Wilbur are masterminds behind many projects together, like I Remember 2006, Rexton-Garnet Reels, Sputnik Collective, Aileron Assembly, and Vrishika Closing. A Case of Primordials, however, is the first band all three have conjured up together.

A Case of Primordials can be described as a chaotic band with a heavy emphasis on improvisation. They fall into the genres of Progressive Rock, Psychedelic Rock, Post-Rock, Math Rock, No Wave, Metal, and even tinges of Blues Rock. Inspirations include SWANS, Black Country, New Road, Black Midi, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Pink Floyd, Kansas (the band), American Football (band), King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, and Modest Mouse
